Industrial Energy Monitoring Gateway

Polyphase power quality and energy metering with Modbus TCP, analytics, and real-time dashboards for industrial facilities, and AI -ready analytics for industrial facilities

Problem / Solution

Problem

Operational blind spots

• Unseen harmonics, voltage sags/swells, and phase imbalance

• Unplanned downtime and equipment stress on motors and VFDs

• Fragmented meters, manual logging, no plant-wide visibility

Solution

Polyphase power quality and energy metering gateway

• Consolidates metering across feeders, MCCs, and lines

• Native Modbus TCP for rapid PLC/SCADA integration

• Real-time dashboards and alerts; plant-wide visibility

• Secure on-prem or hybrid deployment

Key Features

Power Quality Monitoring

THD, harmonics, imbalance, sags/swells, flicker — timestamped and trended for compliance (IEEE 519).

Designed toward IEC 62053, IEC 61000-4-30, and IEC 61010-1 compliance.

Modbus TCP Integration

Drop-in connectivity to PLCs, SCADA, and BMS. Simple mapping, read/write registers, secure networking.

Historical Data Logging

High-resolution logging to local storage or historian. REST export, CSV, and long-term trends for analysis.

Programmable Alarm Outputs

5 Configurable Digital Outputs — Assign any of 5 digital outputs to trigger on conditions like phase loss, undervoltage/overvoltage, or leakage current detection — giving plant staff immediate, local alarm signaling without waiting on a SCADA poll cycle. Additional trigger conditions can be configured per site.

• Phase monitoring (loss, imbalance, reversal)

• Leakage current detection

• Expandable trigger logic for site-specific conditions

AI-Ready Data Platform

Built for Analytics, Not Just Metering. Every register — voltage, current, power, power factor quadrant, and pulse/analog inputs — is logged locally to SD card and exposed live over Modbus TCP, giving you clean, structured data ready for trend analysis, anomaly detection, and predictive maintenance tooling. Harmonic distortion (VTHD/ITHD) and event-triggered waveform capture are on our near-term roadmap.

• Dual data path: real-time Modbus TCP + historical SD logging

• Deterministic, versioned calibration for reproducible datasets

• Local ARM processing headroom for future on-device inference

Built-In Configuration Interface

No Separate Software Required

Configure phase gain calibration, 4–20mA analog input scaling, and digital input debounce settings directly from a built-in web interface — accessible from any browser on the network. Changes apply immediately, with no proprietary software or vendor lock-in.

• Per-phase V/I gain and offset calibration

• Piecewise-linear analog input scaling (4/12/24 mA calibration points)

• Live register viewer and historical trend charts included

Use Cases

Utility Rooms & Central Plant

Continuously log power and load data from boilers, chillers, and utility feeds, building the historical baseline needed for preventive and corrective maintenance decisions, including future AI-driven analysis.

Deployed at the Point of Risk

Monitor feeders, presses, welders and packaging lines for events that damage uptime and quality.

Motors & VFDs

Track harmonics, overheating risk and phase imbalance that shorten motor life and trip drives.

Power Quality Issues

Identify sags, swells, flicker and harmonics at the source. Correlate events with production data.
